And I’m off again! Today, it’s for an exciting press trip to visit orange groves in Sarasota and learn more about how orange juice is made. Randomly, I’ll be staying at the exact same hotel that we stayed at last month. Travel has definitely become more difficult for me lately, so this is one of my last few trips before the baby comes. I find that flying makes my hands and feet swell up, and I land more exhausted than when I took off, no matter how long the flight is. Sleeping in an unfamiliar bed without my elaborate pillow set up doesn’t help either. Unlike my Charleston jaunt, I’ll be sure to eat as healthy as possible so I don’t feel sick from foods I’m not used to.
I’m looking forward to two days in warm weather. This weekend in Connecticut was brutal! I packed mostly dresses and jumpsuits (can’t wait to wear this one), and while I was looking through my (extensive) collection of striped dresses, I had the idea to round up my favorite ones for this spring and summer. A striped dress will never go out of style, and it can be worn day or night. For me, it’s a closet staple, more so than the LBD.
I’ve linked to my favorite maxi, off-shoulder, sleeveless/short-sleeved/long-sleeved, work appropriate, and maternity dresses below at many different price points. Unfortunately the one I’m wearing is sold out, but I found a similar one here.
