My favorite part of awards season is scoping out what everyone is wearing. I love to hunker down with a glass of wine and watch Live from the Red Carpet even more than the award shows themselves! Seth Macfarlane may have changed that for me with his amazing hosting/dancing/singing skills last night but the dresses on the red carpet took my breath away. Here are a few of my favorite Oscar trends this year.

My pick for best dressed was Kerry Washington. She looked stunning in a bright pink/red Miu Miu gown with a sparkling top half.
