This cult-favorite bakery makes all handmade, naturally leavened sourdough bread and pastries that are out of this world. I buy their bread once a week and once in a while, I’ll treat myself to their ridiculously amazing almond croissant too. Everything, including the croissants and pizza dough, is made with sourdough so if you have a minor intolerance to gluten, they won’t bother your stomach at all!

A&S Fine Foods
If you’re searching for the best Italian market in FFC, look no further! A&S makes made-to-order Italian sandwiches, delicious pre-made Italian dishes, and offers catering as well. When we moved into our new house, a friend sent us one of their lasagne’s and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Kerri Rosenthal
If you are looking for the happiest store in FFC, this is it. Kerri is an incredible artist and interior designer who creates bright and colorful pieces that always make me smile. Check out her Westport store and design studio for inspiration and a dose of sunshine. And see how I used her paperless wallpaper in our old playroom here.
Kirby & Company
My friend Elaine owns this incredible home goods/gifts/jewelry/everything store that is maybe the most beautifully curated space in all of FFC. Any time I need a gift, I come here first! You’ll see something (mostly ginger jars) from Kirby in every room of my house, guaranteed.
The Whitney Shop
I stumbled into this home store one day and my jaw dropped. Everything is preppy, colorful, and gorgeous.
Kirby Girl
Kirby & Company’s sister store, Kirby Girl, technically caters to a younger crowd but Amalia and I love it equally! It’s packed with a curated selection of toys, gifts, party essentials, their famous Kirby Kandy, and colorful trinkets. It’s definitely the cheeriest shop in town.
