Daring Denim

Daring Denim

When it comes to jeans, I tend to stick to the basics. I have my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans, dark-wash skinny jeans, white cropped jeans, and black jeggings. Lately I’ve had the urge to branch out with a pair that has a little bit of an edge to it. I found these at Target and figured they’d be the perfect start of my “daring denim” campaign.

Although the jeans themselves are inherently edgy with the moto-knee look, I’m hoping to dress them up in a ton of different styles. A long classic white button down and a striped scarf creates a classic look, a leather jacket and high-to-the-sky python sandals keeps them on point, and a striped tee and pearls makes a an outfit that’s more “me”, preppy and clean.

I love the “Edgy” look set…jeans can definitely get a bit basic, so this is a fun and easy way to add some interest to a look!

These jeans are gorgeous, Julia! I’m a huge fan of dark wash skinnies and pretty much live in them year-round, but I’ve definitely been wanting to branch out too. I love how the ones you chose have that edgy detailing at the knees and I can’t wait to style them similar to your classic look.

    Thanks for the inspiration!
