I want to thank you guys for an incredible response to my post yesterday. I honestly had no idea how people would react to it, but seeing how many people agreed with my point of view and supported what I was saying made me feel like I did the right thing by writing it.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

On Thursday, my sister, mom and I are heading to LA for a change of scenery and to visit my grandparents. I’m so excited for the sunny weather (and the In-n-Out, let’s be honest), despite the fact that it won’t be all that hot. But at this point I’ll take 60s and sunny any day.

I’ll be packing lots of layers for the evenings but plan to wear jeans and flowy blouses during the day… sans jacket. Hallelujah!

I love this cute floral top with a cardigan over it. I will probably wear it a ton over the summer too, so figured it was a good purchase. Plus that price is hard to beat! I also love this low cut, yet still classy blouse that will look great on it’s own or under a blazer. Speaking of blazers, I finally got this one in red and am obsessed. It will be on the blog tomorrow, and I’m packing it for the trip too.

In the shoe department, I’m just excited to be ditching the boots for a few days! Loving these new M.Gemi flats but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Should I do it?

For the flight, I’ll probably wear this cheeky sweatshirt paired with leggings, which feels very LA for some reason. I’m also bringing this book which I started the other night. So far, it’s fun and cute, albeit a bit predictable.
