I wore this outfit for dinner at Gitano in Tulum. It’s the last outfit that I’ll post from the trip and arguably my favorite. This flattering dress is fun to flounce around in and forgiving if you’re going to eat one too many fish tacos. The simplicity of the plain navy silk makes it extra exciting to accessorize.
The evening we took these photos, I had just endured a horrifying sunburn on my arms from too much paddle boarding, which is part of the reason why I wore it. It was loose and soft which didn’t hurt my scorched skin (don’t forget to re-apply sunscreen, kids!).
I know you’re going to want to know where this clutch is from but I bought it at a night market in Bangkok 5 years ago for like $9. It’s still one of my favorite pieces to bring on vacation!
