New Year’s Eve Outfits

Like a lot of people I have a complicated relationship with New Year’s Eve. It’s supposed to mark the end of one year with the promise of many new beginnings. But by December 31st I’m usually so burnt out, I have no desire to celebrate or do anything but rot in bed!

But one thing I don’t have a complicated relationship with? Any occasion where sparkles, feathers, and outfits that are a little bit extra are not only acceptable but encouraged.

Whether you’re ringing in the new year from a fabulous party, or toasting at home with your loved ones (like us!) I’ve pulled together a bunch of New Year’s Eve outfit inspiration. You can see the full list here or scroll down for more ideas.

Oh how I wish I had a reason to wear this sequin maxi dress (which would also be a fun pick for a winter wedding guest).

This magenta feather-trimmed satin top with these feather trimmed pants might be a little too much…but that’s what makes it so fun.

Pair these sequin pants with a black top you already have and you’re good to go!

Have you heard? I’m in my mesh bodysuit era!

If you just want to add a little sparkle to an outfit, these earrings, this bag, or this headband would do the trick.

My jaw was on the floor when I spotted this sequined fringe midi skirt.

Pink party pants…do I even need to say anything else?

If understated elegance is more your vibe, this one shoulder top is just so cool (and as a bonus you can practically style it for year round wear). Add these statement earrings for a bit of sparkle.

I would pair these satin party heels with a little black dress!

Sometimes you just need to throw on a sparkly little dress and dance.

I can just imagine twirling around in this gold sequin skirt (plus it’s on sale!)

I’m having a serious love affair with this shade of pink! I also spotted this satin dress and this feather clutch.

A fun party bag you can use well beyond New Year’s Eve.

I never knew I needed a velvet jumpsuit until I saw this one!

Speaking of velvet, this velvet and sequin wrap dress looks stunning.

You could style this embellished mini skirt with a sweater and tights for a more casual vibe.

I’ve rounded up a few more New Year’s Eve picks here!
