Off Shoulder Shirt (only $25) c/o / Jeans / Earrings c/o / Shoes c/o / Similar Tote / Sunnies

Holy summer heat, you guys! Yesterday it reached 86 degrees and, of course, the brand new central air in our house stopped working. I cannot even tell you how hot it was. Because I work from home, it was like a special place in hell. My poor pup was melting and we both kept eating ice cubes to stay cool. Luckily the AC is on the mend and temps are dropping back into the 70s for the rest of the week. All is well in the world.

One of my favorite times of the year is early summer when it’s hot but not too hot (usually…) and I can rock white jeans with flowy blouses all day errday. This year, like everyone else, I’ve jumped on board the off-shoulder trend and love this insanely affordable navy and white shirt that I’m sure I’ll wear all summer long. I also finally invested in a new pair of white jeans (I’ve had my J.Crew pair for three years and they’re on their last leg!

I tried on probably 15 pairs and all of them made my legs look like sausages except for this pair from J.Brand with light distressing on the knees. I also love them because I have very short legs so ankle jeans are always a must for me. Makes life difficult, let me tell ya.

Does anyone else have the hardest time buying white jeans?
