I’m convinced that anyone who says they don’t like the colder days in New York doesn’t have an exciting enough coat collection. I have about 10 fall coats that I switch out daily including a classic Barbour, multiple blazers, a tan trench coat, a fleece Patagonia for weekends, a faux fur vest (of course!), jean jackets, and a delightful red and black plaid cropped jacket. This boxy purple coat from a J.Crew sale a few weekends ago. My sister bought the skirt that matches which might just make for an excellent Sarah Palin costume this Halloween!

I love the purple paired with my bright red pants that have quickly become a staple for my fall wardrobe. Even though it’s 3/4 length, the scarf and my tea keep me warm.

Side note: I am a huge fan of Birch Coffee & Tea which is around the corner from my office. My coworkers and I go there almost every day for an afternoon pick me up and even stop by once in a while for lunch. In these photos I’m drinking my favorite: Toasted Almond Tea. It straight up tastes like cookies!
