We're on day 60 of social and physical distancing and it's starting to wear on everyone in a new way each week. I felt hopeful when they started talking about lifting restrictions in Connecticut but in reading the news and hearing what Fauci has to say on the matter, it feels like false hope and a sick joke.
I visited the Tuckernuck website today because I wanted to check out their new homemade face mask collection that benefits No Kid Hungry and Mount Sinai Hospitals in NYC. I bought this one and love this three-pack.
While I was there, I also fell in love with their spring/summer dress collection. From the prettiest lemon print midi dress to a striped shirtdress, I would be happy with one of each!
When Anel and I were 25 and dating in Manhattan, we used to paint a picture of our fantasy life one day in the future. We wanted a house outside of the city with lots of land, two kids (still working on that one!), a dog, jobs that we loved... and a vegetable garden.
He grew up on a farm and has talked about building this since the day I met him.
Now that's one blog post title I never thought I'd write...
But here we are. And protective face coverings aren't going away anytime soon. The CDC now recommends that children over 2 years old (which includes my daughter) wear masks if they're in a setting where they might not be able to stay 6 feet away from other people.
