Sometimes I want to dress like a carefree 3 year old girl in all the colors of the rainbow but most of the time that makes me look insane, especially in New York where black is considered the one and only acceptable color to wear.
Taste the Rainbow
Sometimes I want to dress like a carefree 3 year old girl in all the colors of the rainbow but most of the time that makes me look insane, especially in New York where black is considered the one and only acceptable color to wear.
This summer has been the summer of parties . . . Arm parties that is. Every blogger, fashionista, and seemingly New Yorker is wearing stacks upon stacks of bangles, cuffs, bracelets, and baubles around their wrists. I've put together a list of the hottest, sparkliest, and most colorful bracelets for your arm party. Plus they're all under $100.
I recently discovered Julie Brown and I'm now their number one fan.
My amazing friend Adina, owner and founder of SW Basics of Brooklyn, funded a video for my new site. How incredible is that? She is so sweet and I cannot thank her enough. She sent over the best crew evs featuring Nathan Lee Bush who was the main film dude, his girlfriend Jessica who interviewed me, and Alan Lewis who was co-video dude (these are all very technical terms obviously).
As a blogger, I've been lucky enough to meet a lot of fun and amazing New York City bloggers at events, parties, and press previews. Sometimes they become more than fellow bloggers and friendships develop. I'm lucky to have become close to many lovely ladies in the last few months blogging full time.
Three of them (Hallie, Kat, and Jessica) offered to help promote my store by showing us all how to style a silk scarf from the Lemon Stripes Store.
