If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw some pictures from our weekend in Madison, CT. Seven years ago (to the day), we visited this cute coastal town with Boots as a puppy. It's funny to go back and read the blog post now. Traveling without kids is so different!
On that trip I remember crying a lot because I was so beyond desperate to get pregnant.
The heat wave (kind of) broke here in Connecticut, or at least the humidity did. It has been so nice to be able to walk outside without breaking a sweat in 30 seconds for the last two days!
It was another fun and exciting week with a recipe shoot for my book (we only have two left, phew!) and the launch of the Honor Top as a part of my collaboration with Ophelia & Indigo.
I have been making my chimichurri recipe (that may or may not be in my book!!!) on repeat lately. I'm usually more of a pesto gal, but lately I want to bathe in this herby, tangy, delightful sauce made with herbs from Anel's garden. I usually throw in parsley and cilantro, but you can go wild with whatever you have on hand.
July is a big month in our house with my birthday and Amalia's. This year it's busier than ever as I'm scrambling to finish the content of my book and also all of the photoshoots. We have one tomorrow and then only two more left which is very exciting. I think I'll finally be able to take a minute to breathe when those are done.
