Brooklyn Enough?

As you read in Monday's post, my Saturday was spent perusing trinkets and treats at the famous Brooklyn Flea Market. As we were leaving our Upper East Side apartment, I had to check in with Anel to make sure that I looked "Brooklyn enough".

Miso-Glazed Cod

If you've ever been to Nobu, you know how incredibly succulent their miso-glazed black cod dish tastes. When I found this recipe, I did a little jump for joy. After my victory dance, I immediately made my version served over a bed of brocollini (both recipes below). Although not quite Nobu's version, mine is pretty snazzy, looks kind of professional, and is super delish.

My Bridal Shower

On Sunday, my grandmother and aunts threw me the most amazing bridal shower. I felt so loved and appreciated in a room full of women who were all there to celebrate me and the next big life step I'm taking!

Brooklyn Flea Market

{dough's donuts}

This weekend, we stopped by the Brooklyn Flea Market for some trinkets, treasures, and lots of yummy food. The last time I was there was around this time last year, documented in this post. This time was even better because we really went all out on the food. We ate lobster rolls, organic beef hot dogs, fish tacos, and toasted coconut donuts.
