I think Hump day smoothies might have to become a tradition! My coworker was telling me about her famous morning concoction (she is also an avid Vitamixer) and I had to try it out. The apple makes it sweet but the greens give me the iron, calcium, and energy I need to get through the day. I substituted frozen spinach for fresh and added lemon.
Ingredients:
– 1 handful kale
– 1 handful frozen spinach
– 1 apple, chopped
– Juice of 1/2 lemon
– 1 cup coconut water
Directions:
– Blend!
