12 Recipes I Can’t Wait to Try

Here are a few of the recipes I’ve bookmarked lately to spice up family dinners! I actually pulled links for this post earlier in the week and ended up making two of them (1 and 10) already and they were both fantastic.

1. Healing Ginger Coconut Chicken Brown Rice Soup (Ambitious Kitchen): I already checked this one off the list earlier this week and it was everything I wanted it to be… comforting, warm, silky, rich but healthy, hearty, and flavorful. I give it 10/10 with no notes!

2. Cumin Lamb Stir Fry (Melissa Clark NY Times): We went to a friends’ house for dinner recently and they made this spicy cumin lamb stir fry. It knocked my socks off! I would definitely cut the spice in half (only because I’m a huge wuss) but besides that it was wonderful. I actually ended up buying Melissa Clark’s cookbook after the meal because it was that good. This recipe is in the book and online.

3. Blended Pastina Soup (Bon Appetit): Are you even Italian (slash Italian American) if pastina doesn’t cure all your problems? I saw this blended pastina soup recipe in the latest Bon App and dog-earred it immediately. I hope my kids love it!

4. Creamy Avocado Ranch Chicken Pasta Salad (Half Baked Harvest): I wouldn’t qualify this as a healthy salad, per se (lol), but it looks kind of incredible.

5. Homemade Granola (Cookie & Kate)

6. Buffalo Chicken Burgers with Whipped Feta Spread (Pinch of Yum): This would be fun for a summer BBQ but they look too good to not try before that.

7. Ina Garten’s Coq au Vin (Food & Wine): I keep meaning to make Ina’s Coq au Vin and am committing to trying her recipe before the winter is over.

8. Soy Garlic Scallion Noodles (Pete Eats): My son loves (no, like, loves loves) the Momofuku packaged soy scallion noodles and this looks like a great homemade version of them. Here’s hoping they make the cut!

9. Potato Chip Rice Krispie Treats (The Pioneer Woman): Luca has been really into cooking and baking lately and I thought it would be fun to make these with him soon!

10. Bang Bang Salmon with Avocado Cucumber Salsa (Pinch of Yum): I checked this one off the list last night too and again, 10/10 recipe!

11. 5 Ingredient Sour Fruit Gummies (Half Baked Harvest): Another fun recipe to do with the kiddos. They’re both gummy obsessed so could be a hit?

12. The Viral Jennifer Aniston Salad (Eating Bird Food): I am determined to finally make this viral salad that Jennifer Aniston allegedly loves. I had a version of it (made by someone else) and it was delish.
