Happy Monday, you guys! I hope you all had a great weekend. My whole family flew down to Charlotte for my cousin’s wedding, and it was beyond gorgeous. She stunned in a Vera Wang and there were surprise fireworks after dinner. Dressing for a black tie wedding while 30 weeks pregnant was another story, as you can imagine.
I wore this dress by Rachel Palley (I also love it in light pink) after my friend showed me a picture of her seven months pregnant at a wedding in the same one. It was loose and comfortable, but elegant at the same time. I’m going to take more photos of it for a full post because it was just so perfect! You can see how I wore it here in the meantime.
My airplane outfits as of late, however, consist of black leggings, a plain black sweater and sneakers, so I like to punch up my look with cute luggage. I just got this cute matching set from Barrington Gifts, a new-to-me brand, after seeing a few other bloggers using it it. I got a ton of questions about it on Instagram, so I thought I’d do a full review of the three pieces I have.
For everything on their site, you can customize each piece by pattern, and add an optional monogram. FYI the navy and white stripe pattern can be found in the “Spring 2017 Monogram” collection. I have the captain’s bag, diaper bag, and cosmetic kit.
Captain’s Bag
We take a lot of road trips, especially up to New Hampshire where I grew up. I always bring duffels on these trips as opposed to roller bags because they’re easier to throw in and out of the car. I really like the size of this bag and how customizable it is. If you don’t like any of the spring pattern options, the summer collection is great too! It has a removable strap for shoulder carrying too.
Diaper Bag
In the near future, my travel plans near and far will include a little one. I’ve been on the hunt for a cute diaper bag for a while, so when I found this cute monogrammed diaper bag that looks just like a simple tote, I was pretty excited. What makes it a diaper bag? On the inside, there is a large pocket for diapers, two medium-sized pockets for wipes and a changing pad, and two bottle-sized pockets for (you guessed it!) bottles.
You can carry it like a tote or add on the removable strap to transform it into a cross-body bag. I showed a few of my mommy friends and they all said it had what I needed for diaper bag success. So that’s at least one thing I can cross off the list. Side bar, my friend just told me about this diaper bag organizer that you can pull in and out of any tote. Pure genius if you ask me! Obviously I immediately added it to my baby shower registry.
Cosmetic Kit
The cosmetic kit doesn’t really have any special bells and whistles, but the leather sides make it a little more sturdy than other cosmetic bags. And I love that it matches the duffel because I’m crazy like that.

Wow looking awesome, I love your style and the bag. I usually carry handbags when I go out but now that I’m pregnant I think I need a nappy bag already.
