My Weekend in Photos

{countless hours of bocce}

For Memorial Day, Anel and I decided at the very last minute to cancel all of our plans and appointments and drive up to my hometown in New Hampshire for a quiet weekend to kick off our soon to be very busy summer. We enjoyed a home pot luck dinner with my girlfriends from High School and their boyfriends/fiances, morning runs through wooded paths, kayaking on the Connecticut River, a few hundred games of bocce, breakfast at our favorite diner, lots of sunshine, and lots of quiet, uninterrupted sleep. It was glorious.

Now begins a summer full of wedding-planning, bachelorette/bachelor parties, and wrapping my head around the fact that in 3 short months, my last name will be different. I plan to savor every moment of it since I know it will go by in a snap of my fingers.

    Your butterfly up there is actually a Luna Moth.  They only live for about a week and so they’re not often seen… sighting one is considered lucky!
