This is a sponsored post and it touts the benefits of Pantene’s Rose Water Shampoo and Conditioner. I’m blown away with how well it worked and everything written below is an honest recount of my personal experience with the product. As if that isn’t enough, two of my friends started using it after I recommended it to them and have had similar experiences.
Well, I did it! I completed the Pantene 14 Day Challenge and couldn’t be happier with the results. If you watch my Instagram stories, you’ve seen the progress that my hair has made over the last two weeks. I’ve gone from mostly bad hair days to way more great hair days, something I’m not really used to.
Let’s talk about my hair journey, shall we? When I was 13, I used Sun-In at summer camp (remember that stuff?) and it turned my hair completely orange. Upon returning home, my mom took me straight to a salon to get it fixed. Since then I’ve been highlighting my hair every 6-8 weeks. That was 20 years ago. If that doesn’t make me feel old, I don’t know what will!
In the last two years, I’ve really wanted to go even lighter, so my highlights are platinum which requires processing it every four weeks. Yes, it’s horrible for my hair. Yes, I choose to do it anyway. I love the way the bright blonde makes me look and feel!
But all of the processing, mixed with the fact that I lost a ton of hair postpartum, has made my mane a hot mess. I feel like I’ve woken up with a bad hair day every morning for over a year now. It’s dry and broken, and often won’t do what I want it to. Pieces of hair stick up in all directions. It’s so frustrating.
When I talked to the Pantene team about their moisturizing Rose Water Collection, I made sure first that it was paraben and sulfate free (check) and asked if it would make my hair greasy (it doesn’t). They told me that their goal is to make women everywhere experience more great hair days on the reg. Ok I’m here for that!
I’ve tried every organic and natural shampoo and conditioner out there and they simply don’t work for my very processed hair. So, my rule is that I have to use a shampoo and conditioner that are free from sulfates and parabens, which is why I was so excited to see such a popular drugstore brand making that happen for us!
Pantene’s Rose Water Collection is the best moisturizing shampoo and conditioner that I’ve used in a long time. It suds up really well, smells amazing, and makes my hair soft and smooth without weighing it down or making it greasy/oily which I hate. The collection will be available at Sam’s Club until March 5th or until supplies lasts. The Rose Water Collection will also be available on Instant Savings with a $2 savings offer until January 28th!
Have any of you guys tried this product? If so, what was your experience?
Thank you to Pantene for sponsoring this post. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own.
