The Most Classic Counter Stools

I have a very strong passion for home decor and wish I had pursued a career in interior design at some point. Last week I started a side Instagram account just to share my favorite interior inspiration. It’s been so fun to have that as a creative outlet with no pressure whatsoever. It feels like being on Instagram when it first started.

When one of my very favorite home brands, Serena & Lily, asked me to partner with them today to share my favorite product from their line. Obviously, I said yes but then had trouble figuring out what to feature because I have and love so much of their stuff. PS everything on their site is 20% off right now with code DIVEIN.

In our primary bedroom, we have their wallpaper, bedding, and dresser, Amalia has a dresser in her room, and I use their La Jolla baskets in both of the kids’ rooms and the playroom. Not to mention this incredible mirror in our entryway.

But probably my all-time favorite Serena & Lily product is their Riviera Counter Stools which I’m excited to share we are bringing back into the Dzafic household!

When we bought our first house in 2015, the blue and white Riviera stools were one of the first things I picked out. I was so excited to finally have a space for them. When we sold that house 4 years later, the buyers negotiated in a bunch of our furniture including those stools (and the matching dining chairs).

Then we moved into our current home and I went a different direction on the stool front: a simpler look with the Tucker Stools. They have been great for us but I keep thinking about the Riviera stools and finally bit the bullet and went for them round-two. Instead of blue and white, Anel and I agreed on the natural colorway to warm up our all-white kitchen with a coastal vibe.

How cute would these matching kids’ chairs be for Amalia at her little table that sits next to our kitchen island?

The image below that I saw on Pinterest is what finally sold me on them. I love the warmth and coastal feel of this kitchen. It’s pulled together but not too fussy.

Yesterday, my friend Mackenzie shared 25 kitchens that feature the Riviera stools and I also fell in love with this one (via Brittany Ferguson Interiors):

Now if only I can convince Anel to let me paint our kitchen light blue. Mwahaha. I doubt that will happen so I’m working on at least just the island.

You can see more images of the blue and white Riviera Stools in our old house below. I can’t wait to show you what they look like in our new kitchen when they arrive next month!

Thank you to Serena & Lily for sponsoring this post. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own.

Those are my dream kitchen chairs! Just redid my kitchen so the chairs weren’t in budget for me but they’re on my list to buy eventually!
