I can’t believe it’s already April! A month synonymous with tulips, spring cleaning, and allergy season. This week is finally bringing us a string of days over 50 degrees, and, dare I say it, I think spring has actually sprung. It also means that July is only three months away. When I realized that, I had a huge wake up call. We need to start painting the nursery and really prepping for this baby!
I also spent some time this week updating my April wish list as well as my maternity picks for spring (click the “maternity picks” tab on the same page).
I’ve included a few of my favorite pieces for April here, and the best part is that almost all of them are under $100! This cute lavender baseball cap is only $24 and would look so cute with a white tea, jeans, and a blazer for brunch. If only I could fit into this navy and striped ruffled shirt because it’s $49 and too cute! Pair it with white jeans and flats. Speaking of shoes, I can’t stop staring at pictures of these pink bow sandals, so I think it’s time to pull the trigger.
One thing I’ve been looking for and finally found, is the perfect zip-around wallet. This one from Cuyana is made with super soft, high quality leather. I prefer it to a designer brand any day. I got it in blush (shocker) and added my initials in gold foil. It fits perfectly in the J.Crew Edit bag that looks designer, but comes in at only $98.
Add a gingham skirt, and ruffled one-shoulder dress ($45), and you’ll be set for a stylish spring!

I love that spring is the season of pastels! Such pretty colors to wear, and less of the black!

Thank goodness! So ready for winter clothes to be put away.
I refuse to use any wallet now that isn’t completely zip-around. Makes commuting so much easier!

They’re my favorite thing on this list 🙂 I need them!
Julia, thank you so much for making this guide so budget friendly and affordable, yet still super cute and springy! Lusting hard over that off the shoulder dress.
You’re so welcome! It’s something I’m trying to do more and more 🙂
