I’m super excited to announce that I’ve parterned up with one of my all time favorite brands, Yumi Kim (remember this incredible patterned romper that I wore a few months ago?) to bring you a series of posts about dressing for the holidays. For the first post, I’m showing you how to dress as a holiday party hoestess.
When I host a party, I’m always running around like crazy, in and out of the kitchen, refilling drinks, and generally worrying about everyone else. That makes me overheated so I try to dress accordingly. No cashmere sweaters on party night for this guy! Having a gathering in your home during the winter is one of the few times that you can go sleeveless and skimpy without worrying about layering. Since you never have to leave the house, I say go for it!
It’s your party so you should be the best dressed woman in the room, am I right? Here are two examples of how to dress as a hostess. You can go for the sweet and pretty look or the sexy and sassy look. I’m kind of obsessed with this romper and might even wear it on New Years. What is your go-to hostess wear?
Just for fun, I’ve added a hostess gift guide below if you don’t know what to bring your friends when you’re the guest.
