Plaid shirt / Hat / Scarf / Candle / Flats / Nail Polish (In the Lobby) / Bag / Jeans / Stripe Dress / Skirt/ Sunglasses
As I mentioned yesterday, I spent Monday night cleaning out my closet to make space for my fall clothes (I’ve missed them!) that I plan to pick up from storage next weekend. With that, I purchased a few key pieces to round out my fall wardrobe, similar to what I used to do as a kid when heading back to school. Old habits really do die hard.
I have far too many plaid shirts as it is (whatever, I’m from New Hampshire!) but this multi-colored plaid shirt caught my eye. I love the loose cut and classic pattern that I plan to wear with my new jeans, that have just the right amount of rip, and these fabulous lace-up suede flats which look and feel high-end but are, in fact, under $100.
Last weekend, I got my first fall manicure and am obsessed with Essie’s new color for fall, “In the Lobby” that goes well with pretty much everything in my closet, but especially a new black and white version of my favorite blanket scarf (only $33) and this long sleeved striped dress (who said nautical stripes are just for summer?).

I just picked up a new pair of flats and a black felt fedora (the first hat I’ve owned that isn’t meant to be worn in the spring/summer!), but I’m still on the hunt for a new pair of jeans and the perfect plaid. That striped dress caught my eye, too….:)

Love your picks, especially the scarf! I’m hoping the windowpane pattern sticks around for awhile!
