Sweater weather is officially on our doorstep and today I’m styling three cashmere sweaters for fall. It’s been a while since a fashion brand has asked me to style looks for a partnership and you guys know how excited I get about doing this! It brings me back to my early days of blogging and gets me all jazzed up.
I’m even more excited about this post because it’s with Garnet Hill, a brand that not only makes classic and beautiful clothing but is passionate about social responsibility and trying to do the thing for our planet. Plus it has been one of my mom’s go-to places to shop for as long as I can remember so I have a feeling she’ll be excited to see this post… hi mom!
I picked three cashmere sweaters from their fall collection, all grey but all very different. My first choice was a textured cable knit mock turtleneck that wears well with jeans and booties for an everyday look. It looks great on its own with jeans or sticking out from under a camel wrap coat.
UPDATE: Giveaway is closed. Congratulations to Elissa Battista who won! Thank you to everyone else who entered.
The second is a looser relaxed poncho-style sweater. It has a comfy boxy cut and runs oversized but with tighter sleeves which is always the dream for me. It works perfectly with higher waisted jeans and skirts. I paired it with a pleated midi skirt but wore it over the weekend with jeans.
The last sweater I styled is a timeless slim-fit turtleneck, always a staple in my winter wardrobe. In these photos, I wore it with a cute patterned mini skirt, but when it cools down, I’ll be wearing it with my favorite faux-leather leggings and high boots.
To win one of these three cashmere sweaters for yourself, comment below letting me know which one is your favorite and how you would style it if you win! A winner will (randomly) be selected and announced on Friday, September 27th.
Giveaway rules: No purchase necessary. Must be 18 years old and live in the US to enter. Comment on this blog post with your favorite style and that style will be sent to the winner (in the size and color of their choice). You must include your email address in the comment. A winner will be randomly chosen at 12pm EST on Friday, September 27, 2019. The winner will be announced on this page and emailed directly. Garnet Hill will ship the prize directly to the winner. UPDATE: Giveaway is closed. Congratulations to Elissa Battista who won! Thank you to everyone else who entered.
Thank you to Garnet Hill for sponsoring this post. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own. Photos by Julia Dags.

I would wear the poncho style sweater tucked into high rise cropped jeans and booties. Perfect outfit for a mom of two toddlers on the go! Especially for fall!
I love the poncho style sweater. Perfect for a working mom on the go. I would wear it with cropped slacks to work during the week and tucked into skinny jeans on the weekend!
Love the Cableknit one! <3
I love the poncho-style sweater! Would be perfect with a pair of jeans and boots on the weekend or Slacks and loafers for the work week.
My favorite is easily the relaxed poncho style sweater. Such a classic style! For work (I’m at a tech company) I would pair it with cropped dark jeans and a patterned mule. For fall, a hat would be the perfect match as well! For a night out it would also be awesome with high waisted flair pants and point toed shoes! xox
LOVE the mock turtleneck – would style just the way you have with jeans and booties!
I absolutely love these outfits! My favorite look happens to be your favorite too, the Cashmere Cropped Sweater is such a versatile piece and would look amazing with skirts, casual jeans or dressed up.
I love the second look, the sweater is perfect and I love the way you styled it with a midi skirt because I seriously am loving midi skirts for fall!!
I’d do the poncho-style sweater to be able to dress up my baby bump with fall/winter up or down. See it with anything from black jogging and booties or a fun printed skirt.
I love the cable knit mock turtleneck! Would love to wear it with black jeans and booties for date night!!
Love how you styled the slim turtleneck, but the cable knit is my fav! It’s perfect with jeans for a fall day or could be dressed up with a cute black skirt for evening or work!
Love them all, but especially the slim fit turtleneck- I would wear with my black lace pants and statement earrings for Christmas! ☺️ Or thanksgiving. Or any day of the week!
I love sweater #1. I’d style it with a tan trench coat, high-waisted jeans and riding boots!

While I love the sweaters I still can’t believe it’s actually fall…! I would choose the loose poncho-style sweater because I’m having a baby in November and feel like this is the type of loose and cozy top I will be living in (plus leggings!) this fall. Thanks!!
These are all so pretty! My fave, though, is the unique texture of the first one. I’d wear it with jeans as pictured or with overalls for a playful take on the classic look!
Love sweater #2! Thinking I might try it with a skirt or maybe some white denim (winter white pants down here in the south!)
I’m loving the textured cable knit mock turtleneck sweater! I’m loving how you styled it, it’s basically my fall/winter uniform!
These outfits are all so perfect for a New England fall! I love the first outfit in particular with the textured mock neck sweater, super cozy looking! I’d still it similarly to you, tucked into jeans with a vest overtop and some booties!
I love the textured cable knit mock sweater! Gorgeous texture and detail. I love how you paired it with jeans and booties and I would probably do the same 🙂
The textured knit for sure! Would pair with jeans and booties as you have or dress it up for work with a pencil skirt and chunky heels
Wow I love the poncho style sweater and if I’m being entirely honest, I would style it with a pair of leggings and some birks. Entirely un-creative but absolutely cozy….
Love the poncho style one!
Love the poncho style sweater for Fall!
I adored the cable sweater. It can be worn with jeans or perfect for work with a skirt or pant. Plus I love you don’t “drown” in it. I have broad shoulders but love sweaters. The challenge is they can make me look frumpy and boxy. Love the boots too!
The poncho is everything! I’d love to pair it with skinny jeans and boots.
I am having a baby boy this winter and I love the poncho style. It allows me to be comfortable and stylish! I would wear it with my favorite jeans or leggings with booties!

Wow! Thanks for sharing, I didn’t know that Garnet Hill was so dedicated to social and global responsibility, that’s awesome. My mom’s shipped there for years too, she’d probably love the cableknit mock turtleneck but I love the classic slim turtleneck! I’d style it with a fun corduroy skirt in the fall and a black watch plaid pant for the holidays.
Love this brand so much. May I ask where the awesome grey boots are from?
I love the mock turtleneck with boyfriend jeans just like you pictured. So classic for fall and still cozy!

daniellewilson6485@gmail.com
I can’t decide between the loose fitting one or the amazing textured turtleneck. I’m thinking I’d style the loose fitting one with my faux leather leggings and some booties ! So eager for fall weather to reach the Midwest to try all of these looks!
Obsessed with the 2nd option, love that loose fit with some jeans or more dresses up with a skirt like you styled it, so versatile!
I love the first one! The texture is unique and it looks so cozy
These are all such great looks! My favorite is #2 – I’d most likely style it with jeans and booties but I also love how you pair it with a midi skirt to dress it up!

Oh man! This textured cable knit mock neck sweater is such a gorgeous, dreamy staple. Looks so cozy, yet polished. Lghavi@gmail.com
Swoon! I’d be giddy over the textured cable knit mock neck sweater (in a small). This piece is absolutely stunning and timeless with the detailed and neckline. Camel leather is an easy choice because what screams autumn more than that?

The mock turtleneck with jeans and booties is a perfect fall look!
Love the textured cable knit mock turtleneck! Nicole.kennedy5 at gmail.com
All three looks knock it out of the park! It’s been so long since I’ve shopped Garnet Hill for something other than bedding. The texture on the mock neck is my favorite. I’d pair with my JCree denim pencil skirt and a leopard flat.
I would definitely pick the textured cable knit mock, I would wear it with EVERYTHING! I’m thinking it would be super cute with some tartan pants or skirt for the holidays
Have loved Garnet Hill for years! First purchase was a pair of cashmere socks when I was a poor college kid haha! My favorite of these sweaters would be #2 (with #3 running a close second…). I’d style it with a vintage wash flare jean and booties. Maybe my super soft and broken-in embroidered surplus jacket over top. Hooray for fall fashion!
Love the cable knit sweater! I’d pair with booties and scarves – can’t wait for fall weather
Love the relaxed poncho style sweater! They are all so cute!
#2!!!
I really love the cable knit one! Tdantoni10 [at] gmail [dot] com
The poncho-style sweater! I’d style it with a navy pleated skirt, like you did, for work and jeans and flats or booties for the weekend.
Out the three you picked… Usually number 3 would be my choice but with my baby due soon number twos poncho style seems very forgiving and would be the perfect transition to being postpartum this winter.
The cable sweater is so gorgeous. I’d pair it with black skinny pants and leopard loafers for work and wear it under overalls for chilly fall mornings at the soccer field with my kids.
Def the cable mock turtleneck! Love the texture and the color!!
All sooo cute but have a soft spot for turtlenecks and that cable knit one is so unique I’m all would be so cute layered with a jean jacket or blazer for fall, or even with a skirt (or over a dress) for work !!!! Lf97@aol.com

Love them all, but I’d pick the cropped sweater and pair it with a straight leg jean and loafer!
Love all 3 looks but I’m a sucker for cable knit. Especially with the colder weather coming in New England!

Love the cableknit! (But now also going on a search for those boots!)
I love the textured cable knit mock turtleneck – I would wear it to my office on Fridays when we were jeans and have a more casual day, but still look put together! Hope I win!

more everyday day look definitely jeans and booties would be my go to!
The cable knit mock turtleneck is my favorite! Would love to wear that with jeans and fun flats!
I love all of these sweaters and cashmere is <3. My favorite is the turtleneck because I’m having a moment right now with turtlenecks! I’d style it with a leopard midi skirt and black booties. Or I’d pair it with a faux fur vest and jeans and booties.

I love the poncho-style with the tighter sleeves! Julia, you look extra happy in these photos! 🙂 I love love the first sweater, and I would probably put a plaid button up under it, and have the cuffs of the button up stick out the sleeves of the sweater, and then somewhat fold down the neck of the sweater so you get a pop of plaid up top! I would wear this fab combo with an navy skirt! (this styling was probs more detail than you asked for, BUT I have a vision and love to style, ahah!)
Thanks so much for doing this!!
xx Libby

I love the cable knit mock turtleneck!
soooo hard to choose! The poncho-style gray would be perfect with white jeans for September’s 2nd summer!
Love the boxy style swing sweater! I’d dress it up with work pants or down with jeans and my new rothys on weekends!
Love these looks! I would pick the slim-fit turtleneck and pair it with high waisted jeans and leopard booties!
Poncho style for sure!
Love the timeless slim fit turtleneck- a classic with any bottom-jeans, leggings, pant, or longer skirts!
I would choose that gorgeous cable knit mock turtleneck. I would probably wear it with simple jeans and booties most days but it would also look great with a plaid skirt I have from j.crew for the holidays dressed up with heels and pearls.
I think the Cropped Sweater is my favorite!
I LOVE how you paired the jacket with the first one, but I think the poncho style on the second one is the cutest! Since the fall weather still hasn’t hit I think it could be paired with a skirt and booties, which wouldn’t be too hot but you’re still getting that touch of fall!
Love the cable knit mock turtleneck! You styled it perfectly, I’ll take the whole look 😉
I love all three, but I like a a classic with a twist and that would be the boxy cut poncho style sweater. Besides wearing the sweater with straight jeans I would wear it with one of my navy or black pencil midi skirt and riding boots. It seems very versatile and grey is the best neutral around!
The turtleneck! So classic and so chic! Also keeps your neck warm 🙂
Leaving my email address here just in case 🙂 cftarbox@gmail.com
Cableknit 🙂 I love the everyday look with jeans and booties.
❤️ the textured cable knit mock turtleneck! I would wear with jeans, dress pants and skits for work.
I really love the textured cable knit mock turtleneck! So cute and perfect for this time of year. I also really love your midi skirt sweater combo. Thanks for sharing some amazing sweaters!
I LOVE the cable knit mock neck – so perfect for work in the fall! I would style it with jeans and heeled booties or with a cute skirt and booties.
I LOVE all three of those sweaters however I’m a serious sucker for a great cable-knit and turtleneck combo! There is something cozy about that kind of sweater in the fall and winter. I love how you have it styled. Or it can be dressed up with black or a darker heather gray pant with booties or heels with a blazer or fabulous scarf. The possibilities are endless.
I love the second style (loose fitting poncho)! I would style it with leather pants, leopard flats, and a bold red lip!
I am LOVING the cable knit cashmere sweater! Love that you paired it with jeans and a camel coat. It would be perfect for a few of my favorite skirts!
I love the poncho style! I’d pair it with jeans for a casual Friday work day.
Love that textured turtleneck! Perfect for school this winter.

Love the cashmere turtleneck! I think it would be so cute with jeans, mules, and a long cardigan layered over it!
I love them all but my favorite is the boxy poncho-style! I would wear it on the weekends with jeans and my Allbirds, or out for dinner with a similar skirt and cute flats!
Love the mock turtleneck sweater! Would style with jeans 🙂
Love the poncho the best! Dark jeans and some leather slides
I am loving the cableknit sweater, especially paired with that coat!

Love them all! The cable knit is my fave- paired with some paper bag waist wide leg pants!!
#1! I can hear the comforting sound of leave crunching under my boots with this look! Alexandra.askew.mccarthy@gmail.com
love the poncho!! (and that coat!)
I love number 2! Perfect with booties and jeans for work and daycare pickup!
Are your boots from garnet hill too? My feet grew during pregnancy and I have to buy all new shoes – a curse & a blessing!
I have been wanting a cashmere sweater… all the heart eyes for the relaxed fit poncho style one!
The textured cableknit sweater … styled with a jean skirt and black tights and mid boots
I love the cable knit mock turtleneck! I would pair it with my high waisted black jeans and booties!
Oooo poncho style sweater the way you styled it is perfect! Darlynebeauty@gmail.com
I love that slim fit, but I think I’d get the most use out of the poncho style one. Thosee tight sleeves give it just the right style.
I love that slim fit, but I think I’d get the most use out of the poncho style one. Those tight sleeves give it just the right style. I would likely pair it with jean shorts here in south Florida, but it would be so nice with jeans and a blazer.
I am living for the poncho fit sweater! So classic and beautiful for fall
I love the textured cable knit sweater! I would wear it with black leggings or skinny jeans at booties!
Ohhh I would choose the cable knit mock turtleneck and wear it with high rise jeans for my upcoming autumn engagement photo shoot!! We’re truing to keep it simple and classic and this definitely is perfect!
Textured mock turtle neck is my favorite! I would style it with slim black pants and gray booties!
I would wear the poncho style sweater with leather leggings and booties!
Love the textured cable knit turtleneck – looks cozy! Ksdsmith4@gmail.com
I love the third sweater paired with a blanket scarf/poncho, jeans, and knee high riding boots!
I love the poncho style! Would pair so well with black skinny work pants and heels but also look adorable on the weekend with a pair of jeans and boots!
I LOVE the cabled mock turtleneck. I loved how you styled it with jeans, I may try it at work with a faux leather pencil skirt. Hope I win! Emahlman@gmail.com.
I love the cable knit tuetleneck!
Ohhhh the cable knit mock is calling my name! So pretty! Thanks for sharing! Towns.jessica@gmail.com
I love the poncho cut option! Not only for a more dressed up look like you showed with skirts but honestly with yoga pants too! Makes “work from home” casual feel put together.
the second oversized “poncho style” totally would pair it with a leather mini skirt or a shorter version of the skirt you are wearing in the photo! Also, could wear with leggings w/a fun boot! Possibilities are endless:)
Love the textured cable knit sweater! Would pair with faux leather mini skirt and booties 🙂
LOVE the poncho-style sweater! I’d wear it with my high-waisted cropped trousers (I’m a huge fan of the brand epoque evolution and I think you would appreciate their MO) and white sneakers for a casual but pulled together look, especially as a stay-at-home mom of two young kids!
In love with all of these looks! The poncho is definitely my favorite though
I love them all— so elegant and timeless, but if I HAVE to choose, I choose they poncho-style sweater. A fun way to take a classic, elegant sweater to a different level.

I love them all! My favorite is the textured mock neck! Our winters are still fairly warm where I live, so I would style it with demon cutoffs and booties! Or maybe with pointe pants for church.
Love the cable knit!
The cable knit is a dream I’m in a police uniform every day so I’d style it for a night on the town with a black leather mini skirt and a cute pair of booties. Or a church Sunday with my favorite pink trench coat and some slacks. Cable knits are the best.
Love the cropped boatneck!!
They are all so nice! I love the way you styled them, it really demonstrates their versatility. My favorite would have to be the slim fit turtleneck, such a classic style! You’re making me look forward to fall clothes 🙂
elisab4b@gmail.com
The 2nd one/ poncho style one please ! About to have my 4th and final baby, need that looser style 🙂
would style w leggings and jeans
I love the textured one but I also love the classic turtleneck….really can’t go wrong with any style❤️
These are great! I especially love the poncho-style sweater which could go from work to weekend!
The cable knit would be my choice! Paired with a mini skirt, tights, knee boots and a coat.
Love them all but I especially love the cable knit turtleneck! Such a classic look!
Love them all but the mock turtleneck is different from anything else I have! I would style it with jeans and boots for a cozy weekend look.
I love the poncho style! Love how you styled all three looks.
Julia, what a fabulous give-away! I have loved Garnet Hill since I bought a pair of flannel sheets from them for the first time many years ago. If I won I would choose the textured mock turtleneck cashmere. I would style it front-tucked intoa pair of high wasted jeans or a wool skirt with tights and boots. I love it.
Love the classic fitted turtleneck. I would get the oatmeal color and pair it with jeans and my favorite boots.
Poncho style with black skinny jeans and Supergas–effortless comfort!
I adore the poncho-style sweater <3 I'd pair it with black jeans or simple, light colored jeans, stud earrings, and flats. Let the poncho highlight itself 🙂
Random question, are any of these sweaters on the longer side? It’s hard to tell since you have them all tucked in
The textured cable-knit one is longest and the fitted turtleneck is fairly long too. The cropped one is the only short one!
I love them all but I like the second combo of the pleated purple skirt and less structured sweater
I love your style!! I can see myself honestly wearing all of these pieces.
What brand are the faux leather leggings you mentioned?
Thanks!
Thanks! I like the ones from Aritzia or Spanx.
What jeans are you wearing in this post? Very cute!!
They are also from Garnet Hill!
