East End

Date Night Outfit

My husband and I have become serious creatures of habit. Although we live in one of the most exciting cities in the world, we tend to stick around our neighborhood for date nights and brunches. A favorite spot in the ‘hood is East End Kitchen and we end up eating here at least once/week.

We keep coming back because it’s casual, comfortable, close-by and has amazing farm-to-table dinner and brunch menus with an equally awesome cocktail list. It’s become comforting to us at this point (shit are we officially an old married couple?).

I love meeting Anel there after work, waiting for him at the bar with a glass of wine and recapping our days over chopped salads and seared ahi tuni (or a burger and fries, let’s be real).

This is a pretty typical date-night look for me as I’m usually meeting him after a day at the office. How Upper East Side do I look? Now if only the blazer was Chanel . . . One day ladies, one day! In the meantime, this Zara version seriously dresses up a plain black jeans and white button down look.

Love that jacket! It’s even nicer than Chanel I think :). I love East End Kitchen too, it’s one of my absolute favorite restaurants. Since there’s a slight lacking of great food up here on the UES, I am really happy to have that place as a go-to (and the Meatball Shop!). The decor is as charming as the food is delicious!

I love the pieces in my closet that I constantly am drawn too, no shame. At least you know you got your moneys worth. That jacket is awesome.

Such an easy and effortless look! I love a blazer and heels. East End Kitchen sounds like a perfect date night spot. I know what you mean about staying in the same neighborhood. I went to high school on the upper east side and a lot of my friends live there so I find myself in this neck of the woods a lot! Will definitely have to give this spot a try:)

before it was East End Kitchen it was Le Boeuf A La Mode and was my step moms restaurant. Have not been back after she sold it but I used to spend so much time there as a kid.
