When summer ends, I’m pretty predictable when it comes to what I wear. I have two pairs of tall boots that I will live in until April including my babies, these Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots, an over-the-knee investment that I highly recommend making. Leggings are another staple. I own way too many pairs of black leggings but why bother with pants when glorified work out clothes are socially acceptable (Dear God, I hope this trend stays forever)?
I recently added this Calypso fur vest to the mix. I’ve had my eye on it for 2 winters now and finally I had to bite the bullet. It’s super luxurious and takes pretty much any look from drab to fab. You can find a similar less-bulky version here.
This look (variations of which I wear to work, out to dinner, for errand running) meets all of my cold-weather criteria: comfy, chic, warm, and easy to throw on in under 5 minutes.
