One of the things that many of you mentioned in my survey (there’s still time to respond and be entered to win here!) was that you wanted me to create a wardrobe collection for each season. Since today is literally the best day to shop for fall given the insane deals at the Nordstrom sale, I thought I’d coordinate the two stories into one. If you haven’t heard yet, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public today and features all brand new fall items for up to 60% off.

It’s easy to visit the sale and buy a bunch of things that you don’t need, so I made it easy for you, creating a list of my fall staples including everything from cozy cardigans to riding boots to plaid shirts. If you start with these basics, you’ll have an impeccable wardrobe this fall. For the pricier items, I’ve included more affordable options (something that many of you also mentioned wanting to see more of in my survey).
