Anthropologie jumpsuit, c/o Loren Hope necklace, Gigi NY clutch, Jack Rogers sandals, Karen Walker sunglasses
After 5 days in New Orleans for my best friend’s wedding, I am both energized by the city and spending time with my closest friends in the whole world as well as unbelievably exhausted. Per every wedding weekend, we attended a ton of events with lots of heavy food, excessive drinking, and late-night hours.
I tried hard to take care of my body with yoga, work-outs, and green juices and actually was so inspired by the situation, that I’m writing a whole post about how to stay healthy in an unhealthy city tomorrow so stop by for that!
As a bridesmaid in the wedding, my friend Katie told us that we could choose any floral dress that we wanted to wear down the aisle. When I spotted this floral jumpsuit at Anthropologie with Victoria a few weeks ago, I decided to go a little crazy and wear it to her wedding (see my look with full hair and make up here).
It ended up feeling like PJ’s all night which made for the most comfortable wedding dancing I’ve ever been a part of. The wedding itself was one of the coolest events I’ve ever attended. It was held at Race & Religious, a purposefully rustic home chock full of nooks and crannies with some of the weirdest stuff I’ve ever seen like headless mannequins and TV’s from the ’50s.
A cajun jazz band softly played as twinkle lights lit up the beautiful courtyard of the space that surrounded a pool. Of course we all ended up in it by the end of the evening . . .
We took these photos the day after the wedding on the street where our hotel was located in the French Quarter. I just loved the colors here. I’ll share more about the trip to New Orleans over the next few days!
