Frozen Marina

Winter Prep width=

Loren and I took these photos at the East Greenwich Marina in Rhode Island last weekend. For the first time in 30 years, the salt water in the ocean in Rhode Island has actually frozen over. It was insane to see and very cold to be near. Hopefully right now, I’m sunning myself in 80 degrees on the beach in Tulum. . . Very far away from frozen oceans and snow boots.

This winter, it’s all about the layers. It’s been so unbearably cold for so many days in a row that I just want to keep my midsection as warm as possible at all times. This crazy warm puffer vest does the trick.

My vests have been working so much over time I’m not sure they will make it to next year. Lovely photos, I so want to visit Rhode Island. (:

The gingham and stripes go so well together, and the leopard clutch adds the perfect touch! That gingham vest will also be great as we (hopefully) transition into spring soon.
