Remember last week when I posted this outfit and said I had to change into a jumpsuit and blazer because it was too cold? Well, this is the jumpsuit I changed into. I wasn’t going to shoot it and share it because I felt like nothing could ever live up to that Lilly set. But Julia brought her camera to dinner “just in case” and I’m so glad that she did.
I threw on this outfit without even looking in the mirror because it was so comfortable and I knew we were about to eat a lot at HMF. This Gal Meets Glam Collection jumpsuit is forgiving and flattering, and I was going for comfort over looks.
That said, once I saw the photos, I loved how it looked too! I was worried that it might be too muted and would wash me out, but by adding pops of vibrant green with a bag and blazer, that was remedied. It actually reminds me of something my mom used to wear in the ’90s, most likely from Laura Ashley. I’m pretty sure it had the exact same sleeves and the colors are definitely on point. I tried to find a photo of it for this post, but no luck.
Out of everything I’ve bought from Gal Meets Glam, this is my favorite so far. The fit is perfect, which is hard for me with jumpsuits because I have an extra long torso. I also have very short legs so the cropped pant is clutch. And I could go on and on for days about how comfortable it is. I’ll for sure be packing it for our family vacation next week. It’s perfect to pair with flat sandals for running around with a toddler and looking chic while doing it.
Whenever I wear something that reminds me of my mom, I laugh to myself. As a tween, I was mortified by her outfit choices, but I now realize that I actually loved her style in hindsight. I also hear myself saying things to Amalia that she used to say to me (Use your words. Calm your body. Say please.) and I am now wondering if I’m just turning into her. She’s pretty great so that wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world!

I love love this jumpsuit! The pop of green you added really makes the floral print pop a bit more! I am a Gal Meets Glam problem/obsession, and this is right at the top of my wishlist!! So gorgeous, Julia!

Hahah I have the same problem/obsession but I have to say this is my favorite piece yet!
My mother in law just got me this jumpsuit for my birthday and I am so happy to see you wearing it. Curious to see how else you would style it.
Happy birthday! What a great gift. I will probably wear it with flat sandals and no other styling all summer long. It’s a statement piece in itself so it doesn’t need much styling IMO. I hope that helps!
Could you do a review on the bag?? I have had my eye on it for quite some time now but have hesitated because of the price. Wondering about the size, carrying capacity, if you can carry it over your shoulder using the handles etc
I can see myself wearing this whole outfit! I love the jumpsuit! The print is so feminine! It’s definitely a statement piece – I love jumpsuits because it’s one and done such an easy way to already have an outfit put together. The pops of green are perfect with it too.
