I’m trying really hard not to start this blog post off with a comment about the weather, but when I checked this morning, it said we’re due for snow on Friday and Sunday. I so thought it was over, but that’s New England for you, always throwing one last punch for good measure. In the calm before our storms, it’s been getting warmer after an icy weekend, so I was excited to pull out this cute off shoulder shirt that comes in five pretty colors. Alas, it will have to go back into the closet for a few more weeks (months?).
Speaking of closets, I picked up this Martha Stewart Living Closet Kit for my new “cloffice”, and we’ll be putting it together this weekend. We chose to go this route instead of true built-ins for two reasons: 1. It’s much more affordable, and 2. It can be taken down so if we have a second baby one day and need the room for a nursery, we can easily remove it. I’ll be sharing updates on the space as we work on it over the next week or so on Instagram stories if you’re interested.
Today also marks day one of work on our kitchen. We’re starting by painting the cabinets because that’s the job that will probably take the longest. There are a lot of cabinets with a lot of random detail, so we’re going to take it slow. I keep saying “we” but because I don’t want to breathe in the paint right now, we hired someone to help Anel with the job. Next they’ll put up the backsplash, and then hopefully within two weeks, the counter installers will come and get that done. I’ll be sharing before photos and inspiration for our kitchen design in tomorrow’s post, so stay tuned!
In other news, I’m madly in love with this amazing wicker bag for spring. Who doesn’t carry a purse full of hydrangeas down the street? If only I had shared how much Anel made fun of me shooting this…

This top is so pretty on you!
I love this outfit so much! Every detail of it! Also, I’m glad you can laugh about the silly poses fashion bloggers do 🙂 (the flowers are super cute though)
Of course nobody carries a purse of hydrangeas down the street. But we love you for keeping the fantasy alive!
I’m also DREAMING of spring! In love with this outfit, and the best accessory, those flowers!

Of, this top is great. The best thing is that it’s not only for casual purposes, but also for evenings, such as casinos, for instance <a href="https://automatenherz.com/“>spielautomaten spiele.
