Tuckernuck sweater (size down), c/o Hat Attack hat, c/o Cuyana tote, Levi’s jeans, Tory Burch boots
The sales are still going strong for Cyber Monday today (shop all of my sale picks here) but I’m so sick of reading/talking about them that I decided to forgo another sale post today. We had a wonderful weekend in the Bay Area and I did a total of zero holiday shopping and almost no work which was so refreshing slash terrifying.
We spent Thanksgiving Day at Stinson Beach, eating turkey and pies on picnic tables by the sea. The only downside was that it was utterly freezing cold. Luckily I anticipated that and brought this cozy fisherman sweater (size down, it runs big) that was both warm and forgiving after too much food.
I brought over a few bottles of wine from our trip to Napa the day before in my new Cuyana tote which is (shocker) monogrammed in dainty gold letters. I love Cuyana‘s mission which is all about giving and receiving fewer, better things. For the holidays, that means fewer, better gifts: special pieces that have meaning and are personalized, rather than countless things you don’t want or need. This tote definitely meets the mark as it’s something I plan to use daily for bringing my laptop back and forth to the office.
This Christmas, I’m building my gifting list based on this philosophy: I’ll be skipping the crap and random knick knacks that I tend to give just to give, and truly stick to fewer, better gifts.
I love this philosophy too, the bag is amazing and your sweater is really pretty

I recently read “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up” + this post struck a chord with me. I’m definitely someone who gives tchotchkes because they remind of a friend and an inside joke. It might be time to change my tchotchke-loving ways! {Insert Eye Covering Monkey Emoji Here}

I think we’re on the same wave length. For the most part, I decided to forgo the cyber monday post. I figure people know where they want to shop and they’ll find the deals they want to find! I did a huge clean out this weekend, and honestly don’t know if there’s anything I really need right now!

I love your Christmas gift philosophy. I always struggle to come up with gifts, but when I come up with one meaningful one, no matter the size, I feel much better. By the way, I love your sweater!
