Before I get started on today’s post, I wanted to thank you guys so so SO much for your incredible response to my survey yesterday. I hear you and I’m going to start creating more of the more “real” and “personal” content that you asked for as well as more recipes, home tours, and fitness posts. I love writing those types of posts so hearing that you love them makes my heart happy.

On to other things that make my heart happy (see what I did there?)… This outfit!

Like most girls, I dream of a closet packed with designer clothes but my wallet tends to strongly disagree. In steps The Outnet, where I can get awesome pieces like this skirt (still available in all sizes) for a major discount (it was originally $395!). Last week was the first time that I shopped there and I was so impressed with the fact that it’s like an outlet store without the crowds or the piles of clothes to dig through.

I’d had my eye on this Current/Elliot shirt for a while but was not about to drop over $100 for a cotton tank top so when I found it for under $60, I was pretty stoked. (And yes it’s the same one that I wore in my Snapchat Q&A this week that so many of you asked about!) I love the length of it which is perfect for pairing with white jeans or distressed ones (it will cover your butt) or tying up in a cute little knot over a pair of denim shorts.

I wore this look out to dinner in Westport on Sunday with my family who has been in town all week. It was still 90 degrees at 7pm when we took these photos so I was grateful that I wore this summery look.
