Tory Burch Turtleneck

c/o Tory Burch sweater, skirt, boots and bag

This weekend, I hosted a fun event at the Tory Burch store in Greenwich. I was lucky enough to pick out a look to wear to the event and went for this classically preppy (with a twist!) outfit that, as my friend put it, made me look like I was about to ride a horse to the country home. Seriously, I haven’t felt so good in a particular outfit in a long time.

Being able to work with the Tory Burch team was such a dream! It’s a brand I’ve always admired and it felt like a pinch-me moment to be collaborating with them and having them ask me to style looks. I wonder if they know I have no idea what I’m doing… This outfit was one of the four looks that I styled for guests at the party. I paired this crazy flattering skirt with a sleek navy sweater (LOVE the brass details) and riding boots for a tres chic look. I recommended this one for work.

Although the event was a blast, the whole time I couldn’t wait to get home to see my husband for the first time in over a week. Every year, he goes back to Bosnia to visit family and it’s every year during that time that I realize just how much I love and appreciate him. Part of me loves having the alone time, cooking for one, and extended girls’ nights, but only for so long. After living together for so many years, it’s amazing how much I’ve gotten used to the man being around 24/7.

I LOVE this look! Every piece is super flattering (although you look great in everything) and I like that the grommets add a fun ’70s edge to the ultra-preppy look. It’s so classic and of-the-moment at the same time!

OMG. I love love love this look. I’ll have to watch for sales as not sure I can swing all of it now. Hard choice between the shirt or the skirt. So beautiful!
