Pop of Orange

Happy Monday! I’m really excited about today’s look. I don’t wear skirts that often, but I feel like I should. I always like the way they look when I see them in photos. A few weeks ago, I was trying on this faux shearling vest on my Insta Stories and a bunch of people asked how I would style it.

I knew I would wear it with a black turtleneck because #chic, but instead of my usual black leggings or jeans, I threw it on with a cute leopard print mini skirt. It’s old but I found this one on sale for $44ย that’s pretty similar. I can’t speak to the quality but it looks cute. Of course I had to add an orange bag for Halloween week. I’ve had this slouchy one forever and always bring it back out around this time of year. It adds a fun pop of festive color and holds way more than you would think.

It was pretty chilly the day that we took these pics and despite my bare legs, the vestย / turtleneck combo kept me nice and toasty. It’s got some serious warming power!

A solid black turtleneck sweater is one of my top fall/winter staples because it can be worn in so many ways. I wore it again over the weekend with faux leather leggings for a girlfriendsgiving party and it looked amazing. I also love tucking it into a plaid skirt with tights for holiday looks. This one is almost identical and a fraction of the price if you’re looking to add one to your closet.

Love this look! I don’t wear many skirts either ….not sure why. I think i just tend to reach for jeans ALL THE TIME! Although i also wore a leopard skirt the other day and loved it!

Can you do a post on your skincare routine during pregnancy and breastfeeding? I’m newly pregnant and find all of the rules on the ingredients to look out for SO confusing. I know you’ve done posts in the past about how you’ve switched most of your routine to natural products, but something geared towards pregnancy and post pregnancy would be great.

    And love your outfit!

Hi Lia! I didn’t really change all that much TBH. I used pretty clean products anyway so I wasn’t too worried about it. But if you have specific questions, let me know!

Can you recommend a face wash and lotion?

Super cute! I always feel ridiculous when I try these vests on, but you definitely pull it off. Also love that leopard skirt!
