After yet another crazy turbulent flight (what is it with that lately?), I made it home from LA a little bit tanner and a lot bit more relaxed.  I spent two days in Claremont at my grandparents house with my mom where I’d spend the mornings working and take the afternoons off to spend some QT with the fam. It was nice to see them and to catch up. But let’s be real, the only reason I actually went out was for the In-N-Out… Kidding but it was a nice added perk!

On the third day, I drove to Venice for a shoot with Valorie who I adore. Her photos are incredible and she is just the cutest! We always have the best time shooting together.  We started with this green dress which I just adore, especially when paired with this insanely gorgeous necklace (similar, more affordable version here).

While I’m still in summer mode, probably every other blogger you follow is talking about the Nordstrom Sale which starts today for Nordstrom card holders. Why is everyone so #obsessed? Not because it’s one of the biggest sales of the year but because you can buy all brand new fall merchandise on major sale. It’s the best time to stock up on fall clothes. Trust. I’ll be doing a more comprehensive post about the sale tomorrow but if you want to get started (as things sell out really quickly), shop here.
