Sweater Vest

Happy first day of fall! Even though in my mind it starts after Labor Day, there is no denying it now. And the falling leaves on my lawn are proof. While I’m sad to officially say goodbye to summer today, I secretly love my fall wardrobe the most… but don’t tell the sundresses, they’re very sensitive.

I’ve loved going out for dinners and a coffee meeting (Neat in Darien is great) last weekend in more layers. While it was still hot midday, the mornings and evenings were downright chilly. On Saturday, Anel and I even ventured to our favorite noodle bar in the ‘burbs for some pho and sake to warm up.

As you can probably tell from last year’s fall posts, I’m a scarf kinda gal. I scored this one (originally $125) for under $60 at Neiman Marcus Last Call’s big sale this week. And my cozy new vest (originally over $100) was closer to $50. Both pieces are sure to be big hits over the next few months.
