I can’t believe this week is actually here. Today marks my last Monday at Nourish. It feels bittersweet, exciting, and scary all at once. I’m going to miss my coworkers and the routine of going into the office every day but I’m also excited to be able to set my own schedule and be my own boss. Not to mention working out during the day slash having time to work out at all.

Luckily I didn’t have a whole lot of time to think about it over the weekend since we were insanely busy with the new puppy. You all weren’t joking when you said puppies are a lot of work! Luckily my husband is taking on most of the work and we happen to have the best dog ever (who slept through the night all weekend) so it definitely could have been worse. We were definitely bummed about having to miss our tropical vacay this week but we turned our long weekend into a staycation with plenty of puppy cuddles.

He had a lot of visitors as everyone seemed to want to meet the now famous Boots who is apparently a celeb on Tumblr according to Carly, who came over with her pup Teddy on Saturday for our first puppy playdate.

I snapped these photos in Central Park on Friday on my way to dinner with my friend Adina, one of the most inspirational female entrepreneurs I know. She started making skincare products in her kitchen only a few years ago and just launched in Target stores nation-wide. Talk about #girlboss! Spending time with people like her inspire me to hustle, something that I’m going to need in the coming weeks with my new schedule.
