As my photographer, Rebecca, told me, I’m just not a floppy hat kind of girl. As much as I want to be “city-chic”, running around town in high heels and floppy hats, it’s just not me and I look ridiculous.
I am, however, a baseball cap girl. It’s kind of my thing (see here and here). I love how this look isn’t too casual but the hat dresses it down, making it perfect for a meeting at work (my office is pretty casual) or date night with my husband. I’ve kind of been wearing this J.Crew plaid popover on repeat but it’s the best pattern ever and so comfy. . . So sorry I’m not sorry to all of my other clothes.
In other news, I’m super excited to be featured as Keep.com’s guest stylist this week. Check out what I chose here.

Such a cute look! I have had a baseball cap on my list for so long, but I already have so many hats… do I need another?! Probably. ha
Love everything about this! I may just need to buy that hat AND that shirt, since they’re both on sale right now. Thanks!
Do it! #badinfluence 🙂
I think the pumps might be my favorite part — perfect pairing with the more relaxed look of the baseball cap!
So fun, right? I bought them last minute when I forgot shoes for an event and now they’re my faves!
Love the hat! It really elevates the whole casual chic vibe of this look. My “peahead” sadly can’t pull off floppy hats either- I look ridiculous!
Love the outfit, especially the heels! I wish I could pull off a baseball cap, I’m more of a floppy hat gal. Either way, hats are in, so rock em when you can!

I wish I could rock the floppies so grass is always greener!
