It’s May which means that bikini season is around the corner. My husband and I are on a serious mission to get our bodies beach-ready for the summer. This gets harder as I get older each year, but the lbs seem to just float off of him no problem. So annoying, am I right ladies?
Ok where was I going with this? Oh right, I originally bought this dress as a beach cover up for the summer. It’s the perfect beach fabric (terry-like on the inside) and is great for taking from the sand to summer cocktails. I realized yesterday that I could wear it to work right now, and with our hot/cool spring weather, it was spot on!
What’s in my beach bag, you ask? Well wouldn’t you like to know. Ok fine, here it is
I’m already eyeing so many amazing bathing suits for beach season and just picked up this mix-and-match number with palm leaves on top and a classic white bottom. So kewt and I can’t wait to wear it oh so soon. For now I’ll just walk around in my cover-up turned work dress carrying around a beach tote full of bathing suits and towels.
Speaking of beach totes, I’ll be at Olive and Bette at 1070 Madison Ave on Saturday, hosting an event with Hayden Reis. Stop by between 1pm and 3pm to say hi, check out some beach bags, and do some frivolous weekend shopping!

Love that bikini top! I almost never buy matching tops and bottoms….I think this habit started around the year that Blue Crush came out (totally embarrassing that I’m admitting this haha). That blazer fits you really well too!
