What I Have My Eye on for September

I’m not *quite* ready for summer to end, but even I have to admit I’m a teeny tiny bit excited for fall fashion. But only a little! I’m not ready to jump into turtlenecks and scarves, but I have been wearing this hot pink sweater a lot lately, the perfect mix of summer colors in a fall piece of clothing. It’s so pretty, in fact, that I chose it for one of the looks that will end up in my book!

I also found a great rainbow-ish sweater for $49 that reminds me of my beloved Kilte Collection one. Yes, I just said beloved about a sweater. It’s that good if you feel like a major splurge.

The one trend I’m excited to try this fall is the midi denim skirt. I just bought this one  because I love this brand and the pricing is really fair, but have seen other influencers post this skirt from Mango for $59 too so I’m going to test both and pick one favorite to keep.

And I can’t write this list without sharing the jeans that I literally have hardly taken off since I got them. The fit is so good and they are as comfortable as sweatpants.

I also love this quarter zip from last year and think the nude color is perfection. And this sweater is so simple but so chic. The white and tan are at the top of my list.

Pink cashmere sweater: A great hot pink color (it shows up lighter online), and a nice crop that isn’t too cropped. It also comes in a bunch of colors if pink isn’t your thing.

Pink dress: This dress would make such a statement!

Rainbow-ish sweater: A great under-$60 alternative for the cult-favorite Kilte Collection rainbow sweater.

Colorful striped sweater: Find a happier fall top, I dare you.

Leather bucket bag: I love the shape, size, and leather weave on this cute little bag.

Denim dress: A great price for a fall staple.

Barn jacket: I’m very into the new fit of J.Crew’s barn jacket this year.

Denim skirt: I’m very excited to try this trend. I just bought this one  because I love this brand and the pricing is really fair, but have seen other influencers post this skirt from Mango for $59 too so I’m going to test both and pick one favorite to keep.

Lady jacket: J.Crew is really pushing these “lady jackets” this season and I finally caved to try this one. The color is perfect and it would dress up any jeans and tee ‘fit.

My current favorite jeans: I haven’t put on another pair since I got these a few weeks ago!

Ribbed sweater: I just bought this one and am SO excited for it to arrive. I love the cut and neckline and ribbing and know it will go quickly.

Quarter-zip sweatshirt: I have this in another color from last year and you guys asked about it constantly. The nude would be my pick from this year’s colors.

Brown patterned dress: I mean if this isn’t fall Julia in a nutshell…

Nude sweater: Ba&sh makes the most beautiful clothing. The quality is next level and you will have every piece forever. The neckline on this sweater is really sending me.

White v-neck sweater: So chic, I want it in every color.

Fall baseball cap: You guys know I love a good cap. This one for fall is kind of amazing.

Striped cardigan: Will I shut up about this cardigan? Not until it sells out. It’s so good you guys! You’re seeing it everywhere for a reason.

Quarter-zip striped sweater: This one looks so comfy and easy to wear.

Fuzzy mules: Yes, please!

Cardigan: J.Crew Factory is coming through with some bangers this season including this patterned cardigan with gold buttons.

Striped Puff-Sleeve Tee: I have this in navy and lived in it last fall/winter but the tan is so fun too!

Corduroy skirt: Love this with boots and tights! Plus it’s 50% off, making it only $39 right now.
