Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Tray / Candle / Blanket / Soap / Scarf / Perfume / SeedsEspadrilles / Topiary / Napkins

Now that more and more of my close friends are becoming mothers, I can see and hear first hand just how insanely hard it is to raise a child. It makes me feel so bad that I never understood or appreciated this about my own incredible mother growing up.

Better late than never though, right? Mother’s Day is around the corner (May 10th if you’re wondering). This year, buy your mom or a mom in your life something beautiful that she wouldn’t normally buy for herself. Not sure where to start? I have a few ideas. . .

A topiary (or 2) lasts seemingly forever and adds some color and life to any room. Spruce up her powder room with a beautiful bottle of soap. It will make her smile every time she washes her hands. Monogrammed cocktail napkins are a great way for her to brag about you at her next cocktail party.  Or try something new and get her a “garden in a bag“. I love the idea of a fresh mint plan in a cute package! My mom always talks about her love of lilacs and how they smell so Aerin’s Lilac Path perfume (which smells basically like heaven in a bottle) is the perfect gift for her.

A fresh bouquet of flowers and a heartfelt note never hurt anyone either! What are you buying your mom for Mother’s Day?

My mom put in a Mother’s Day request for an LL Bean pullover rain jacket after she came to visit me + saw mine! Just need to pick up a card + I’m all set.

I actually just bought the topiary above, it’s so cute on my fireplace!

I got my mom a Vera Bradley cross body bag. It’s little enough to go to the game, and she’s always stealing mine!

Ahh, this is so helpful! Thank you! I literally spent half an hour at Target yesterday just picking out a card for my mom. By the time I settled on the right card, I couldn’t even think of a gift …but after reading this, I think she’d really enjoy a nice perfume.
