Holiday Hostess Gifts

Before I get into my killer list of hostess gifts (if I do say so myself), I’m so so so excited to announce that my entire 2018 holiday gift guide is live! I’ve poured hours and hours into it over the last week, and I hope that it inspires you to buy gifts that you love for everyone on your list.

I pulled from your suggestions like gifts for yankee swaps under $25 (so many requests for this one!) and gifts for coworkers and also have a ton of other sections in there so go check it out! I’ll be adding more gifts and more guides as we navigate the next few weeks of holiday madness.

To give you a sense of what else is to come, I’ll be putting together one gift guide blog post per week (like this one) until Christmas. The last one right before the holiday will be include favorite charities to donate money to, which makes for my favorite last minute holiday gift. As I add more blog posts, they will populate to the main guide (you can see the hostess one already there) so that there will be lots of options to shop each section.

But I’m starting today with hostess gifts because the holiday party invites are already starting to trickle in and I like to plan ahead for these things.

One of my favorite gifts on this list (and in my entire guide actually) is Snoop Dogg’s cookbook which I think is equal parts hilarious and amazing. I need to get my hands on that thing to see what he’s up to.

Another great pick on the opposite end of the spectrum is this monogrammed candle. My friend gave it to me a few years ago and I refuse to burn it all the way down because it’s so pretty! For a candle, it’s a great price at $25 too.

If a friend is throwing a big party and you want to go in on a nicer gift with a friend, this marble and gold cheeseboard is just beautiful and something that will be used for many gatherings to come.

Diamond Glass Set, $30
Cheese Board, $49
Snoop Dogg’s From Crook to Cook Book, $25
Flamingo Ornament, $8
Plaid Ice Bucket, $59
I Am Very Busy Mug, $14
Gray Malin Beaches Book, $40
Rosé All Day Cocktail Napkins, $49
Gold Pineapple Jars, $110
Monogrammed Candle, $25

You can find my full 2018 holiday gift guide here and remember that I’ll be updating it throughout the season. I’ll let you know when that happens here and on Instagram. Happy shopping!

Major thank yous to Victoria and Lisa  for designing a beautiful gift guide page and to Beth, my incredible assistant, who resized photos for hours!

My sister just started a big job as General Counsel at a cannabis industry startup. I think I will get her the Snoop Dogg Cookbook in honor of her new venture, lol. But I found the hardcover on Amazon for $14, so I hope you don’t mind that I saved myself a few bucks….

I ordered this candle from Tuckernuck and they sent it to me totally un-monogrammed! And now appear to have taken it off their website altogether. I’m so disappointed, back to the drawing board on MIL gifts!
