For anniversaries and holidays like Valentine’s Day, Anel and I play a little game where we’re only allowed to spend $100 on a gift for each other. It takes the pressure off to buy something over the top and unnecessary, and forces us to get more creative. In my search for his perfect gift, I found a lot of great other ideas (not all under $100 but many are) so thought I’d share them here.

I mentioned at work the other day that I was putting together this guide and then the ideas REALLY started flowing. Anel and I both recently got (matching, awk) Patagonia Better Sweaters and now we live in them at home. It’s a gift that will last him literally decades, and I can’t think of one guy who wouldn’t want this. We also both use Swell Bottles daily and this sleek matte black version is both useful and manly. I bought this duffel bag for my dad at Christmas for a gym bag. It has a section for shoes and looks clean and put togehter.
