Mother’s Day Gift Guide

I am so excited to celebrate my very first Mother’s Day in a few weeks. I’ll still be recovering from my sinus surgery, but hoping I’m with it enough to enjoy the day.

Last year when I was pregnant, we didn’t do anything because we were too superstitious and still nervous about my pregnancy. So this year Anel says he’s pulling out all the stops! But Mother’s Day, to me, doesn’t need to include fancy gifts. It’s more about being appreciated with a thoughtful gift or gesture.

Whether that’s flowers, breakfast in bed, a card “made” by Amalia, or even a little something from this list (hint hint Anel!), the idea of being recognized for all of the work that comes with being a mother is special. Becoming Amalia’s mama has been the proudest I’ve ever been of myself, but I know I don’t give myself enough credit… Like many other moms out there.

Whether it’s a cozy pair of sweats that also looks cute for mornings with the kiddos, or a pretty little mama ring, my tip for Mother’s Day shopping is to buy something that will make her feel loved and she’ll actually use.

What’s on your list for Mother’s Day?

That mug is so cute! I have the silk pillowcase and the Rifle Paper Co phone case and I can attest that they are excellent quality and my mom loves them. I’m also thinking of getting my mom the la pliage Longchamp backpack for her morning bike rides. We’ll see.
I hope you have a wonderful day!
