When we bought our house, Anel knew right away that he wanted to turn a portion of the furnished basement into a man cave. This would be his space in the house, a space where he could watch a game, kick back, and relax. It turned out to be such a cozy room that we end up watching movies here together fairly often...
My San Francisco trip last week happened to coincide with Live in the Vineyard, an event where artists give shows in Napa on (you guessed it) vineyards. The incredibly generous ladies at bareMinerals brought a group of bloggers up for the event and I was lucky enough to join and I'm so glad that I did!

My long weekend in the Bay Area was beyond fun. From a day in Napa (more on that tomorrow) to hiking at Muir Woods to a sunset dinner in Sausalito to visiting old friends in San Francisco, I really got around! Plus I got to spend #nationalsibling day with my sister as an added bonus.

One of the first things people say when they come into our house is, 'why do you have so many living rooms'? The answer is, we have one formal-ish living room (this one), a sun room for morning coffee and puppy snuggles, and then Anel's man cave in the furnished basement which has turned into the place where we watch movies or TV together because it's just so cozy.
