Button-front fleece, $45: Grace has recommended this fleece time and again so I finally gave in and bought it. Now I understand why she's so in love with it! It's super soft and fleecy on the inside but a cotton (Patagonia-like) material on the outside. It's not too heavy, is long to cover the butt, and is a slimmer fit so looks flattering.
My little Luca man is almost six months (you'll be getting an in-depth six-month update next week) and loving life. This happy guy is also huge and never stops eating. I am concerned for our grocery budget when he's a teenager! It's kind of crazy how different he is from Amalia at the same age.
Although summer food is my favorite, I thrive as a home chef in the fall. I'm good with hearty flavors, and if left to my own devices I'd be making soups for breakfast, lunch, and dinner through February. I have a bunch of recipes pinned to make over the coming weeks. And this is only the start of my fall recipe list!
We are back home after a beautiful long weekend on Martha's Vineyard with friends. It ended up being a very chill travel experience thanks to Luca and his long car naps (something Amalia never did). Both kids did a great job in a new place and we had the best time!
I even had my first experience with clamming which was much more fun and much more of a workout than I anticipated.
