Sometimes it's still hard for me to believe that I don't live in the city anymore. For example, two weekends ago, we decided to spontaneously head to Tod's Point Beach to watch the sunset, something that would have been so foreign to me just a year ago.

One of my friends recently told me that she associates me with plaid every fall. I don't blame her! I can't seem to get enough. I wear plaid bags, plaid shirts, and plaid scarfs pretty consistently from September to December.

This pretty path, around the corner from us, is incredibly vibrant. Even though New England's foliage has already "peaked" (that's a real thing), these trees are blazing redder than ever. Anel and I went to walk under them and take some photos before dinner at Baldanza, a farm to table restaurant in New Canaan that boasts grass-fed beef and free range chicken.

A few weeks ago, Sweet & Spark sent me a few brooches to play with. I haven't rocked a brooch in quite a while so I got inspiration from Jillian's post, How to Wear a Brooch 9 Ways.
