5 Random Things: December

We're halfway through the last month of 2020 and I am ready for this year to be over. With Christmas in 11 days and two weeks off of work for both myself and Anel, we are looking forward to the second half of the month to chill out and hang out as a family. I've been working nonstop this month to wrap up my marketing projects and sponsored posts and am really looking forward to a little break.

Peppermint Oreo Balls

Maybe it's the prego in me talking but I'm pretty sure I've never put anything in my mouth that tastes quite as good as these peppermint oreo balls. That's what she said... Annnnddd I need to get out of my house, clearly.

Back to the #balls though. These make a super easy Christmas treat that you can make with (or without) your kids.

The 17 Best Books I Read in 2020

I read a lot of great books this year... as well as some not-so-great ones. Reading is one of my favorite escapes from reality and if I don't read for 30 minutes before bed every night, I see a huge difference in my sleep so it's something I prioritize daily.

3 Ways I’m Staying Sane this Holiday Season

Holiday stress is real and can be intense, but that stress obviously looks a lot different this year, as do most things in a pandemic. While there might not be as much family pressure or overextending yourself with events (quite the opposite, actually), I personally feel a different kind of pressure about making the holiday fun and perfect for my family, especially Amalia.
