After living in New York for so many years, I've developed a strong aversion to tourists. They tend to be slow moving and in my way, and that drives me (and most New Yorkers) insane.
I was nervous about traveling to New Orleans last weekend because I knew that we would be over-eating incredibly rich food and whenever I get together with my college friends, we tend to have one too many cocktails.
I made a vow to myself before our trip, that I would try to treat my body with respect and feed it the nutrients it would need to get me through 5 days of craziness.
I couldn't be more sick of my winter wardrobe. If I have to wear one more sweater, I think I might explode. Every year around this time, I wonder why I chose to live in the Northeast and then suddenly it's spring. The sun comes out and people start to get glow again. Vitamin D really does the body good.
When I did spring cleaning a few weeks ago and tore apart my closet, I discovered that I own not 3, not 4, but 5 striped blue and white oxford shirts.
