Pay it Forward Challenge

This year I committed to posting a sustainability challenge monthly, but I have spent the last week thinking on this and decided to go in a different direction for the month of April given the circumstances. I encourage you to continue to participate in my previous challenges. Keep avoiding plastic bottles, keep trying to clean up your cleaning product, keep avoiding single-use plastic bags, and continue eating less meat.

I loveeeee artichokes and have a nostalgic connection with them because my grandma used to make them all the time and it was one of my favorite dishes she made. Whenever I see them on a menu I order them but have always been intimidated to cook them at home.

Toddler Activities: When You’re Stuck at Home

We're going into our third full week of social distancing with a toddler. We've had many ups and many downs, but I do feel like we're in a good groove now. Amalia has been happier than ever. Maybe it's her age or maybe it's the fact that she gets to spend 24/7 with her two favorite people and one favorite doggie.

Protecting Your Finances During COVID-19

For many of us, the current state of the world is a very scary time financially... in addition to everything else. In our house, we run two small businesses and our income is now a tiny fraction of what it was before this crisis. We're lucky that we have prioritized saving money throughout our marriage so we have a small safety net, but, frankly, that won't last forever.
